Abstract: This research paper will explore the concept of representation and the strategies of voice creation used in postcolonial English literary texts through the study of the way the authors use narrative techniques in their works in order to resist colonial domination and at the same time create their own hybrid identities. By means of the comparative analysis of the works of such authors as Chinua Achebe, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Salman Rushdie, and Amitav Ghosh, the intersection of linguistic innovations, polyphonic narration, and cultural appropriation will be studied. The proposed methodology will combine the approaches of postcolonial stylistics and computer-assisted textual analysis in the field of code-switching, incorporation of proverbs, and multiplicity of narrative techniques. Quantitative data have proven the significant correlation between the narrative techniques and the articulation of the marginalized voices, thus proving that linguistic hybridity is both political and aesthetic approach to cultural representation.
